Ben Carter, a standout sales representative in Toowoomba (before) and an entrepreneur, has always been a hard worker, juggling multiple responsibilities. Like any ambitious professional, he faced ups and downs, especially with outsourcing. Just as he was about to give up, in 2011, Ben stumbled upon a freelancer from the Philippines, a girl on Upwork. From that initial connection, a significant journey began that would eventually lead to the creation of Yoonet.
Driven by his dream and willingness to take risks, Ben wouldn’t stop until he saw the fruits of his labour. In 2015, he opened Yoonet’s first office with just a handful of staff. It was a modest beginning but the start of something bigger. Along the way, Ben connected with incredible people who would shape the future of Yoonet. He learned the values and culture of the Filipino people, which he grew to admire deeply. Over the years, he experienced countless lessons—some in the form of challenges, others in moments of triumph. For every setback, there was an opportunity for growth, and for every failure, a chance at success.
