How an asset manager boosts engagement via social media with the help of the marketplace

The Challenge: A well established, asset management business was struggling to promote their services via social media.

They recognised the need to get the brand out to their audience but could not find the time or the support required to consistently turn their ample content into engaging social posts that actually got posted consistently. Alternative options proved expensive and resulted in a less than optimal volume of engagement and an irregular schedule of posting. Branding was inconsistent at times and campaigns not visually dynamic resulting in posts that contained new content but looked the same.

The Solution: The marketplace team worked with the client to develop a set of initial templates consistent with the client's well established brand and optimised for the various social media platforms. A workflow was established to allow the client to pass messaging content to the marketplace team who then populated the necessary templates.

In conjunction with the client, each month a posting schedule is created and approved following which the marketplace team actions the posts in accordance with the schedule. In addition, every month marketplace designers update the underlying templates and work with the client to continually evolve the look and feel of the messaging whilst being true to the brand and increasing the dynamism of the campaigns.
